General Terms and Conditions

  • We value everyone's right to a safe, healthy and respectful training environment. All students and guests are required to observe and follow our policies at all times. We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone who does not abide by our policies.

  • Instructors are subject to change without notice.

  • Additional tax charges apply for GST (5%) and PST (7%) on applicable memberships and merchandise at checkout.

  • We only accept credit card payments via our online payment processor. We do not accept cash or cheques.

  • Merchandise may be returned for an account credit within 14 days of delivery. All returned merchandise must be unwashed and unworn with the original hangtags attached. Proof of payment must accompany the return. All merchandise are subject to inspection.

  • All memberships, private lessons and special events must be pre-paid prior to attendance.

  • All private lesson purchases are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase and will expire thereafter.

  • All students are required to sign up and pre-register for classes online from our schedule page.

  • All 10-Day FREE Trials are eligible as a one-time free offer per new student for 10 consecutive days.

  • All Introductory Offers are eligible as a one-time offer per new student.

  • All Monthly Membership packages are split billed every 2 weeks in 2 equal payments.

  • All Introductory Offers, Mastery Membership packages, Flex-Passes, and special events are billed as a single payment at the point of purchase.

  • Un-used membership classes will carry over into the next cycle and will not be reset upon membership's auto-renewal.

  • All Monthly, Mastery and Flex Pass Memberships will auto-renew until the student indicates otherwise in writing to info@tricitiesgjj.com.

  • 30 days advance email notice required to info@tricitiesgjj.com to receive a confirmation email to stop membership auto-renewal charges.

  • All membership and private lesson sales are final. Membership and private lesson purchases are non-refundable, exchangeable, or transferable.

Cancellations

  • We have a 1-hour cancellation policy due to our limited class sizes. This helps ensure other students will have the time and opportunity to confirm and attend classes that are available.

  • If you cancel your class more than 1-hour before the start of class, your credit will be returned to your account for future use.

  • Classes cancelled after the 1-hour window are considered late cancellations and charged as if attended.

  • If a student no shows to a booked class, there will be no refunds or credits. However, you may show up on standby for another class during the same day, and if a spot is available - it's yours!

  • Please note, we cannot guarantee availability for students on standby, as priority will be given to students who show up for their confirmed class bookings.

  • All classes can be easily cancelled or changed online from your emailed appointment reminders. Simply click on the “CHANGE/CANCEL APPOINTMENT” button located on your emailed appointment reminder.

  • All memberships and private lessons sales are final. Membership and private lesson purchases are non-refundable, exchangeable, or transferable.

Running Late

  • First-time students and guests are required to arrive 20 minutes before the start of class for their orientation and walkthrough. Returning students and guests are required to arrive 10 minutes before the start of class.

  • If you are running behind, please email or call us in advance to let us know you are on the way. If we don’t hear from you, your spot may be given to a student on standby.

Holidays and Vacations

  • We observe and respect all federal and provincially regulated statutory holidays in Canada and will be closed during those dates.

  • Bi-annually we will close our school for one week during every summer and winter to spend quality time with our family and friends so our team can recharge and better serve our student community.

  • Bi-annually our team of Certified Instructors and Instructor-Candidates are required to attend Instructor Certification Training at Gracie University HQ in Torrance, California. All efforts will be made to maintain our regular weekly class schedule without disruption to your training routine.

  • Scheduled bi-annual school closures (summer break, winter break, Instructor Certification Training) will be communicated with 30 days advance written notice from info@tricitiesgjj.com.

  • All membership dues will continue as normal per each student’s individual billing cycle during statutory holidays and scheduled school closures.

  • Un-used membership classes will carry over into the next cycle and will not be reset upon membership's auto-renewal.

  • Students going on holidays and vacations can pause their membership with a 30 days advance written notice to info@tricitiesgjj.com.

  • Student vacations or holiday pauses must be for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks per annual basis. Membership billing will automatically resume at the end of the student’s indicated vacation or holiday pause.

Pets and Service Animals

  • Due to safety considerations and out of respect for the experience of all our students and guests, we cannot allow pets to accompany you during your class. If you show up with your furry friend, we will kindly ask you to return another time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • We do make exceptions for service animals being held in their carrier or directly supervised by their owner and on a leash at all times. If you have a service animal that you would like more clarity on - please email us directly at info@tricitiesgjj.com.

Guests 18 and Under

  • A guardian must be present to sign our health and safety agreement for students under 18-years old.

  • The minimum age to attend class with us is 4-years old.
