Introduction to Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Watch demonstrations of 6 foundational techniques, and practice techniques 1-2 with guided partner drills. Understand why this works for anyone, regardless of size or strength.
Hands-on training. Refresh techniques 1-2 from part 1, and learn techniques 3-4 with guided partner drills. Feel what it's like to learn how to effectively defend yourself in a safe and structured training environment.
Advanced practice. Learn techniques 5-6, and connect all the techniques from 1-6 in simulated self-defence scenario drills to help you sharpen your reflexs, and develope your skills as a student of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
You'll learn from two certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instructors with over 20 years of combined teaching experience.

Ray has spent 17 years training and teaching Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. As co-owner of Tri-Cities Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and one of only 300 certified Gracie Training Center instructors worldwide, he's guided hundreds of students from their first class to belt promotions. Ray specializes in making self-defence accessible to people who never imagined themselves on the mat.

Alasdair brings 4 years of dedicated Gracie Jiu-Jitsu experience and is a certified Gracie Combatives instructor. He'll be leading your hands-on training sessions in our regular group classes, and his patient, detail-oriented teaching style is exactly why we chose him for this series. He's been where you are — and he knows how to help you towards your understanding and mastery of Gracie Combatives.
Both instructors are certified through Gracie University and teach at one of only 300 authorized Certified Training Centers in the world.
